Judson F. Devlin

Judd was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, where he continues to reside with his three children. He graduated with honors from Eastern Kentucky University in 1985, and received his law degree from University of Kentucky College of Law in 1988. He was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1988. He is a member of the Louisville and Kentucky Bar Associations. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a frequent lecturer and guest speaker at workers' compensation seminars for attorneys and claims professionals. He has been selected as among the "Best Lawyers in America®" since 2007 by and as a "Super Lawyer" by Kentucky Super Lawyers® in the field of workers' compensation from 2008 to 2014.

C. Patrick Fulton

Patrick is a fourth generation attorney and was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1960. He graduated from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill in 1982 and received his Juris Doctorate from the University Of Kentucky College Of Law in 1985. He was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1985 and is a member of the Louisville and Kentucky Bar Associations. He is also a member of the United States District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky as well as the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He married Linda Fulton in May 2005 and they have a combined family with six children. Patrick's hobbies include squash, mountain climbing and hiking. He has been a frequent seminar speaker on Kentucky Workers' Compensation issues.

Lyn D. Powers

Lyn, a native of Ashland, KY, received her Bachelor of Arts from Bellarmine College in 1995. In 1998, she received her law degree from the University of Kentucky College Of Law. She is admitted to practice in Kentucky, Indiana, as well as the Federal District Courts of the Western District of Kentucky, Northern District of Indiana and Southern District of Indiana. She and her husband, James, live in Southern Indiana with their two sons. Lyn has completed two Chicago marathons and several half-marathons.

Brian T. Gannon

Brian is a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is a graduate of Centre College and the University of Kentucky College of Law. He was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1989 and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. Brian and his wife and daughter reside in Louisville.

Stanley S. Dawson

Stan was born in 1965 in Versailles, Kentucky. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky College of Law. He has represented employers and insurers in the areas of workers' compensation, Federal Black Lung and subrogation since 1991, and has lectured on workers compensation and Federal Black Lung issues at legal seminars. Stan also previously served as in-house counsel for a major mining concern, handling mine safety and health, environmental, corporate and transactional matters. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the U. S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, as well as the U. S. Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and Tenth Circuits.

Thomas M. Edelen

Tom was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, where he continues to reside with his wife and child. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisville, in 1992, with a degree in history. He received his law degree from Southern Illinois University, with honors, in 1995. He was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1995. He is also a member of the Louisville and Kentucky Bar Associations. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, for the Western District of Kentucky, Eastern District of Kentucky, and the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. Tom is an avid college sports fan. He also enjoys combining two of his favorite passions, history and traveling, by planning trips to places that he has read and studied about.

Ward Ballerstedt

Ward was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, where he continues to reside. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky in 2002, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville - Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 2006. He is licensed to practice in Kentucky, and is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Kate M. Carpenter

Kate was born in Columbus, Ohio and has resided in Louisville since 1997. She graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky in 2012, and received her Juris Doctor from the University Of Louisville Brandeis School Of Law in 2015. She is licensed to practice law in Kentucky, and is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association. Her interests include cycling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
